Introduction

When we see a work of Quadrio, we immediately think of the Renaissance and of the great masters as Vinci and Dürer. Quadrio reaches a vertiginous perfection and composes a hallucinating bestiary where dragonflies and birds incite us to a reflection on the life and on the death, so intimately mixed.

Lanfranco Quadrio: a few landmarks
Born in 1966, Lanfranco Quadrio lives and works in Palermo. He learns the engraving with his father Guido and engraves his first etching in 1978. In 1989, he finishes his studies to the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo by a thesis on artistic anatomy. In 1992, he becomes a professor at the School of art in Palermo. He exposes regularly in Italy, in Switzerland.
