Six years after the creation of idées d'artistes gallery, the gallery Polad-Hardouin inaugurated, on October 13th, 2007, a new space by an exhibition gathering thirty artists among whom Zoran Music, Paul Rebeyrolle, Max Neumann, Vladimir Velickovic, Hans Bellmer...
The gallery, 215 square meters, with window, has three halls of exhibition on the same level and a cabinet of drawings in the basement. In this place, the gallery will pursue the work introduced with artists as Stani Nitkowski, Jean Rustin, Lydie Arickx, Michel Nedjar and of young emergent painters as Sabhan Adam, Christine Sefolosha, whose talent begins to find an international recognition.
Faithful to its editorial line which led it to defend the contemporary figuration, the gallery Polad-Hardouin asserts its identity through strong, stemming pictorial choices coming historically of artists of the New Figuration (on 1960s), as Maryan, Marcel Pouget, Michel Macréau... IThe gallery will propose exhibitions of young artists and will also try to promote creators of international stature still unknown in France.
The gallery organizes regularly conferences animated by specialists. The gallery also participates in fairs and trade shows, as the contemporary drawing Show, from April 10 to 14.
