"My desire to draw is primarily justified by an intense need to express myself, in a way that is sometimes a bit agitated or anarchist but also quite cheerful. So I try to develop a language specific to art, the language of drawing, which is more codified, but not necessarily dissociated from spoken language: basically it has more to do with working on form, and transforming thought so that it no longer operates in solitude, but in solidarity. I'm not trying to point with my pencil but, in a way, my pencil forces me to do so; what I like about drawing is that it forces you to be honest: all the attempts to deviate from the line become visible on paper. As for my subjects, I think I mostly try to deal with the feelings that govern human relations or human beings. Somehow, for me is drawing is a way to do a kind of mapping of human relationships."
