Jacques Grinberg "Véhément, mélancolique"

From 17 January to 17 March 2002

From 17 january to 17 march 2002, the idées d’artistes gallery will exhibit Jacques Grinberg.

The works of this artist who belongs to the nouvelle figuration, many of which figure in famous collections such as the Sordet family’s, haven’t been shown in Paris since 1994.
Progressing through Marxism, the Cabala, and Taoism, Jacques readily says : « I don’t repeat myself... Those who do have little wit. ».

This personality, who belongs to a slightly forgotten yet pioneer generation, never put down his chisel. He is presenting us works which still reveal his vehemence but also definitely bear a melancholy note.
